Nach langer Ruhepause besuchten wir mal wieder die Grundschule St. Michael in Rodt, nahe Trier. Dort wird in jedem Jahrgang das Mittelalter als großes Thema in der 4. Klasse durchgenommen.
So trafen Thorsten und ich (Daniel) auf eine Klasse voller wissbegieriger und gut vorbereiteter Viertklässler. Auf die Frage, was die Kinder denn schon wissen, sprudelte es nur so aus ihnen heraus.
An verschiedenen Stationen haben wir Alltagsleben, gedeckte Tafel, Kleidung, Spiele, Materialien und vieles mehr gezeigt und erklärt. Eine kleine Hürde stellten dabei Kartoffel, Apfel, Banane und Zitrone dar, bei denen es ein paar Hürden bei der Zuordnung gab.

There, the middle ages is a main topic of every 4th grade.
Thorsten and I (Daniel) met a class full of thirsty for knowledge and well prepared children. Asking them, what they allready know about middleages, we hardly could stop them talking.
At several stations we presented all day live, a set table, clothing, games, materials and much more to show and explain. A little tricky to sort out, what fits into the middle ages: A banana, an apple, a potatoe and a lemon.
